Atlanta Season 3 Delayed
Donald Glover's weird, wacky and groundbreaking FX series Atlanta has been a critical and audience darling for the two seasons it has aired thus far. Despite all that, though, it looks like the wait for Season 3 of the series just got a little longer. At a TV critic's meeting this week, FX CEO John Landgraf announced that, while the series would definitely be returning, new episodes wouldn't be airing in time for Emmys consideration this year. Part of the reason for the delay is due to Glover's busy schedule. "As you might imagine, Donald Glover is sort of the king of all media, and he just has had an incredibly complicated life," Landgraf told the critics. "One of the things that is just a reality of television today is you have to wait." Donald isn't the only busy one though, as the careers of the rest of the show's main cast — Zazie Beetz, Brian Tyree Henry and Lakeith Stanfield — have also heated up since the show began airing. While we're definitely happy for all the success going around, we're still a little bummed that our wait will be even longer now. #WaitingSucks
