Cardi B Opens Up About Postpartum Depression

Cardi B made waves this week when it was revealed that she landed the latest cover of Harper's Bazaar. While the fantastical photos of the singer that accompany the interview have definitely caught fans attention, it's what the "Money" rapper says about postpartum depression that really has people talking. "When I gave birth, the doctor told me about postpartum, and I was like, 'Well, I’m doing good right now, I don’t think that’s going to happen,'" Cardi said to the mag. "But out of nowhere, the world was heavy on my shoulders." She also spoke to how her body feels different since giving birth to her daughter, Kulture," saying, "For some reason, I still don’t feel like my body's the same. I feel like I don’t have my balance right yet. When it comes to heels, I’m not as good at walking anymore. I feel like I’m holding a weight on me." Her frankness about dealing with such a real issue is being rightfully praised and helping to open up discussions about a real affliction that can plague new mothers. While she was pretty honest about that, she played coy about what the future holds for her and on-again-off-again hubby Offset. "I don’t think so. Who knows? You never know, you can never tell," she said when asked if they would get back together permanently. #OhThatCardi
