Back in March, Brian Casey, Brandon Casey, Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman — better known as Jagged Edge — hit their fans with the new slow jam "Closest Thing to Perfect." An anthem for loving the one your with, the boys have finally shown us what their vision of perfect is in their latest video.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, of course. The same could be said of perfection. With that said, we aren’t quite sure what we’re seeing or if we're grasping the vision. The clip looks like a post-apocalyptic trap video, beginning with two models dressed in leotards and dramatic makeup pushing a shopping cart. They arrive at a door in the middle of a deserted country road. We then get scenes of the boys singing in a dilapidated building and at an unfinished structure. There are also a few solo shots of each of the guys against star settings. We're not exactly sure what's going on here, but maybe you can make sense of it all.
“Closest Thing to Perfect” comes from Jagged Edge’s upcoming album A Jagged Love Story, which is to be released on July 15th.
