Anyone else super happy that Elle Varner has returned? Not only are we happy to have her new EP Ellevation in our ears, we're also happy to see her grace our screens. She wowed us recently when she showed off impressive music knowledge during a round of ELLE Magazine's ever-popular Song Association series. She did so once again during last night's airing of Black Girls Rock! 2019. The singer-songwriter graced the stage to perform her swoon-worthy track "Number One Song."
The star looked movie star beautiful with long, flowing tresses and a red-sequined dress with feathered accents at the cuffs. The romantic look complemented the romantic song about not being able to get her lover out of her head. The song's tender sentiments and easiness to sing along to made it the perfect song selection for the event (and we're sure it even earned her a few new fans). Most importantly, though, Elle sounded absolutely amazing and had the audience firmly in the palm of her hand.
With an EP full of jams and her effervescent star power, we're sure we'll be seeing a lot more of her on our TV and computer screens in the coming months. Go ahead and get yourself your Elle Varner fix by taking a peek of her doing the damn thing on Black Girls Rock! 2019.
