Anderson .Paak & Mark Ronson Let Us Sit In On Their Jam Session For 'Then There Were Two'

It seems like rapper, singer, multi-instrumentalist and owner of the best teef in the game Anderson .Paak is everywhere nowadays. In recent months, he’s lent his raspy vocals to songs by The Game, YBN Cordae and others. Now Andy is collaborating with producer Mark Ronson on the new track “Then There Were Two” for the Spies In Disguise animated film soundtrack. To say a collaboration between the two is a no-brainer is an understatement. In support of the new track, the pair has released a behind-the-scenes video.

The concept for the “Then There Were Two” video seems very fitting for the two musical maestros: the audience gets to sit in on the recording session between the masters of the boards. The clip opens with a brief old school animated intro before we join the two musicians in the studio. We watch as Ronson plays his guitar on the side, the horn section and other musicians play the background and Paak, in the center, plays drums and lays down the vocals. We also get a few black-and-white scenes of the guys writing the actual song and even goofing off a bit.

Spies In Disguise, starring Will Smith and Tom Holland, tells the story of a super smooth secret agent (Smith) and super smart scientist (Holland) who have to work together save the world, after Smith becomes a pigeon. The Spies In Disguise soundtrack was curated by Ronson and will feature tracks from Lil Jon, Dodgr, DJ Shadow, De La Soul, Lucky Daye and more. You can check out the rest of the album when its release on December 13th. For now, hit play and watch this soulful collabo from Ronson and Paak.
