If cold weather and a shortage of daylight are giving you the winter blues, take heart...spring is a little less than three months away. If that doesn't bring you any comfort, Jah Cure and Mya have teamed up to provide a visual distraction with the clip for their lover's rock ballad "Only You."
Shot in Jamaica under the direction of Khalil “TheTruth” Kinkade, the pristine beach and lush scenery is an idyllic backdrop for a smitten couple who only have eyes for each other. Mya looks sun-kissed and radiant as she and Jah Cure echo loving sentiments while dancing on the beach. "I was down, you were there / Lifting my body off the ground, showing me no fear / You were down, I was there / Telling you that you're beautiful / Baby have no fear," Jah lovingly sings on the first verse, making his feelings known over the track's lilting reggae beat.
The love song is taken from Jah Cure's latest album Royal Soldier, which features the likes of Damian Marley, Tory Lanez, Melanie Fiona and Popcaan and debuted at number one on the Reggae Billboard charts earlier this year. Meanwhile, Mya seems right at home, having recently filmed her own visuals with Ding Dong on the Caribbean island. Sis needs to go ahead and record a collaborative reggae project, it's long overdue.
