Megan Thee Stallion & Normani Are On Their Baddest Behavior In 'Diamonds'

The latest comic book movie to hit screens will be DC flick Birds Of Prey, which hits theaters next month. Since the film will center on antiheroine Harley Quinn and a ragtag group of bad girls gone good, it's only right that two of music's brightest up-and-coming baddies collaborate for the film's soundtrack. Megan Thee Stallion and Normani do just that with their new collabo "Diamonds."

The track plays off the memorable classic "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend," which was popularized by Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Of course, they switch things up considerably, dropping in a bumpin' beat and other elements that keep things squarely in the now. Normani carries the bridge and hook duties while hot girl Meg takes care of the feisty verses, emphasizing her love of diamonds and her decreasing need for a man that can't provide them.

The video for the track stays on theme with the film, with both ladies embodying the larger-than-life wackiness of Harley Quinn in provocative outfits. They then take turns dancing and fighting with their crew in a zany looking funhouse while wielding Harley's signature weapons. It's a fun clip that shows both ladies doing what they do best.
