Maimouna Youssef's star has risen in recent years, giving her a bigger platform and fans around the world. Though she's now an international sensation who's steadily booked and busy, the Baltimore-born and bred artist still proudly calls the DMV home and makes sure to perform in the area whenever she can. Lucky for her DMV fans, she has a concert coming up right in our backyard at Publick Playhouse in Cheverly, Maryland on Saturday, March 7th. This gem tucked away in Prince George's County welcomed José James last fall and has an exciting lineup of performances coming up for the remainder of their 2019-2020 season, including Sweet Honey In The Rock, Gretchen Parlato and our girl Mumu Fresh.
