We first met Chloe x Halle when they were extremely talented kids blowing up YouTube with their immaculate harmonies and better-than-the-original covers. The ladies are grown women now, however, with both of them now at the beginning of their 20s. That new decade brings bolder moves, especially with their upcoming album Ungodly Hour on the horizon. To that effect, they've already dropped the fun new single "Do It" and quickly follow that up with a sharp new visual for the track.
"Do It" is a certified bop about getting ready for a fun night out with the homies. The video captures that vibe without being too literal. The ladies glam it up in flashy outfits that show off a little skin and hug their figures as they sing about getting club-ready. The entire thing is filmed on a soundstage as the ladies show off a few slick dance moves with a limited number of dancers helping out. It's all about their sisterly vibe, though, as they pose it up while keeping it cute along to the bumping beat.
The video is a good look and establishes their new, more mature look and sound while keeping it young and fun in a way their previous efforts didn't. And we have a feeling that Chloe x Halle are just getting started in bringing the heat this go 'round. Get into "Do It" when you press play and look for Ungodly Hour when it drops on June 5th.
