PJ Morton, Darrel 'MusiqCity' Walls & Zacardi Cortez Take Gospel To The Dancehall With 'So In Love'

Just when we thought we knew what PJ Morton might pull out of his musical bag of gumbo, he gives us a curveball. This time the singer, songwriter, producer, keyboardist, husband, father, etc., etc. serves up some Caribbean riddims to give us the gospel groove “So In Love” featuring Darrel “MusiqCity” Walls and Zacardi Cortez. The final result is something that is both faithful to the sounds of reggae and PJ’s own soul man roots.

On “So In Love,” PJ and his partners in crime share a musical love letter to God for all he's done. Darrel and Zacardi, two contemporary gospel singers from Houston, bring it on their verses and in the harmonies, showing off their powerhouse pipes. "I'm so in love with you / I'm so in love with you / So whatever you want me to do (I'll do) / I'm so in love with you," they proclaim on the chorus.

Along with the uplifting new song, Morton also released an equally feel-good video for the track directed by Dominic Scott and Laneslense. We see PJ and his band performing in a smokey bar reminiscent of a dancehall. Meanwhile, Darrel and Zacardi are seen outside in a lush tropical setting singing their praises to the Lord. Finally, there are scenes of adorable kids frolicking about, running around and having all the fun in the sun.
