While October might be a time for ghosts, goblins and things that go bump in the night, what really haunts many of us is the memory of a love lost. It’s these feelings that have Bryson Tiller and his co-star Kehlani going down a trippy, twisted trip down memory lane in the video for “Always Forever.”
On “Always Forever,” Tiller thought he had found the one he wanted to settle down with, but after seeing the lies and deceit, he realizes she’s far from being “the one.” In the video directed by Glenn Michael of Kid Studio, Bryson and Kehlani take us on an artsy adventure through the intimate moments of their imaginary relationship. The scenes jump between different moments in their relationship that Bryson cherishes, and, judging by the lyrics, his girl is trying her best to forget. But, as the camera angles change and we see things from a different view, Tiller looks at the memories he cherished in a different light. By the end of the clip, Bryson is trying to pull a Spotless Mind and get rid of the memories, too.
