Days after making her Saturday Night Live debut and hours after spitting hot fire on the Ladies First Cypher on the BET Hip Hop Awards 2020, the GRAMMY Award winner was the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for Tuesday night's episode to perform her single "Damage."
As the Herb Alpert "Making Love In The Rain" sample began to play, H.E.R. strolled to the front of the stage to take her place before her band and background singers. The performance set was lit with purple and red lights that matched the moody vibe of the single. Dressed in a shimmery white jumpsuit and bedazzled sunglasses, H.E.R. served up her usual chic. Vocally, she sounded just like the recorded version of the song, which made us wonder if she was lip-syncing or actually singing live. Regardless, this was another performance slay from H.E.R. who has us counting the days and hours until her next televised live show, which is actually tonight for the virtual Xfinity Awesome Gig powered by Pandora at 9 pm ET.
