Rose Gold Is Ready To Set It Off 'Soon As You Get Home'

We have been enamored with Rose Gold for a few years now, blessing her as Bounce-Worthy in 2016. We're not the only ones who adore the singer-songwriter who is a mainstay on any project that Terrace Martin produces. Soulection has also taken notice and added her to their roster of talent with plans to release her official solo debut. Rose Gold gives us a sample of that upcoming project with the release of her sultry single "Soon As You Get Home."

Rose Gold has seduction on her mind on "Soon As You Get Home." Over a twinkling harp and booming 808s, she woos her lover with her enticing lyrics. "Lick it, kiss it / You with it, I'm with it / Come and get it, babe / Soon as you get home," Rose breathily sings in an almost whisper on the chorus. She encourages her man to hurry home to get some good loving, but it sounds like she may have already gotten started. There are echoes of Aaliyah when Rose delicately sings, "Let me know, let me know," as Haughton did on her cover of The Isley Brothers' "At You Best (You Are Love)," and she also counts Faith Evans as an influence when she created this song.

"'Soon As You Get Home' is about creating the perfect evening for the person you love," Rose states via press release. "If they're hard-working or having a bad day...basically, take care of your partner if your partner is taking care of you!"
