Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott has been the secret weapon for many artists – whether standing in front of a mic, holding a pen or sitting behind the boards. Though she took a few well-deserved years off, she's returned to add her special sauce to everyone from Lizzo to Katy Perry. Now it's British import Bree Runway’s turn to get Missy's Midas touch on her new song "ATM." Initially, the collaboration was kept secret with Bree running a contest to see which of her fans could guess who the special guest was. She finally humbly announced who it was on Twitter, stating, “Lil ole Bree from London on a song with one of the biggest legends on this planet!”

So does the track actually live up to all the hype? Well, as Maya on Girlfriends would say, "Oh hell yes!"

On “ATM,” Bree and Missy go together like chocolate and peanut butter, complementing each other’s flows and energy. “Swipe, swipe, that’s my language,” Bree lets a potential suitor know on her opening verse. Taking a cue from her long-distance protégé, Missy adopts a British/Caribbean accent, bragging, “I got so much drip you can see me surfing.”

“ATM” comes from Bree Runway’s newly released debut mixtape, 2000AND4EVA, which also includes collaborations with Maliibu Miitch, Rico Nasty and Yung Baby Tate. According to Bree, the project explores the many imperfect realities of life, relationships and heartbreak, as told through her own style of “destructive pop.”
