R&B veteran Usher has hooked up with new kid on the block Kiana Ledé to help usher (no pun intended) in the holiday season with the feel-good track "This Day." The song comes from the Netflix holiday musical, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, which is now available for your viewing pleasure.
"This Day" is an uplifting track that inspires listeners to say goodbye to doubt and struggle and spread their wings and fly. Over uptempo pop production courtesy of Harvey Mason, Jr., Usher and Kiana take turns lifting our spirits and singing their hearts out. The lyric video for "This Day" gives us a preview of all the magic and mayhem of the musical. Between scenes of singing, dancing and a cute animated robot, we see Kiana and Usher in the studio singing.
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey tells the story of legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Forest Whitaker) whose inventions burst with wonder and whimsy. But, when his apprentice (Keegan Michael Key) steals his prized creation, it’s up to his granddaughter (Madalen Mills) to save the day. In addition to "This Day," the soundtrack will also feature new songs by John Legend, Ricky Martin and more.
