Alex Isley, Jack Dine & Masego Add Lucky Daye To Give Us Even More ‘Good & Plenty’

When Alex Isley, Jack Dine and Masego united last summer for their track "Good & Plenty," we couldn't believe our ears. The chilled, sensual track was the perfect soundtrack to accompany the heat of midsummer (even if we technically couldn't do anything about it thanks to The Rona). With a song that sounds so perfect, what else could they do to improve it? Apparently, add Lucky Daye. The ever-popular singer-songwriter makes this threesome a quartet and turns the heat up on the track even more in the process.

Rather than save him for later, the refix gives us our Lucky Daye upfront. He kicks off the remix with sly references to Georgia peaches and Tweet's "Oops (Oh My)" as he lets us know exactly how he'll seduce us. His time on the song is short and sweet, as his voice is soon bleeding into Alex's dreamy chorus that promises more to come. And more does arrive, with Masego's verse staying the same as the original and a brand-new verse from Alex, herself. "Seen all this before in my mind / All I ask is take your sweet time," she requests on her verse before letting us know she can give us everything we could dream about.

"None of us anticipated how well the song would be received, so when we started talking about doing a remix, we really wanted to find the perfect person," Jack Dine said of Lucky Daye's inclusion on the remix. "Lucky is someone who we all admire and respect as an artist, so it was an easy decision to get him involved." Alex Isley agreed, saying, "The mood the three of us were going for was really captured perfectly. And now to have Lucky, who is another one of my favorite artists, on this remix, gives it such an amazing new life."

We have to say that the addition of Lucky Daye was an inspired decision, one that makes an already perfect song even better. See what we mean when you take a listen to the "Good & Plenty (Remix)" below.
