Jazmine Sullivan is not a talent to be taken lightly. While this has been said time and time again, it finally seems like the rest of the world is finally waking up to this reality. That's partly because the singer-songwriter thoroughly impressed with her recent EP Heaux Tales and continues to tear up stages on our TV screens with her electrifying performances. She does so once again with another rendition of her single "Pick Up Your Feelings" on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Though we've seen her perform this track several times over now, Jazmine still makes each one thrilling and unique. This time, she shirks the '60s-era fashions for something a little more modern with a colorful mini-dress covered by a long, green coat adorned with a fur collar. She looks absolutely amazing, but it's her voice and performance that take center stage. She gives just the right mix of attitude and emotion (and even throws some impromptu scatting into the mix) while showing off her flawless vocal prowess, showing the at-home audience why they'll be hearing her name come awards season.
This wasn't Jazmine's only recent performance of the track, as she also staged another performance for this past weekend's NAACP Image Awards as well. While that one was just as flawless, the folks over at BET also put together a short documentary about Jazmine and the rehearsal process leading up to the showstopper to give us some insight into who Jazmine Sullivan is as an artist.
