Lamone & Najee Deliver A Jazzy Ode To Love On 'You Complete Me'

Following his timely open letter to America on behalf of all Black men, "Born To Be King," singer-songwriter Lamone strikes a romantic chord with his latest single “You Complete Me.” A sharp contrast from his previous, socially charged track, this latest groove features legendary saxophonist/flautist Najee and serves just enough bop for a smooth two-step. Over a seamless blend of soul and contemporary jazz, he sings of a love that gives life meaning and declares, “You fulfilled my life with reason, reasons to be here.”

This new release not only captures the sentiments men sometimes struggle to say, it packages it all in one mesmerizing and melodic package. The dreamy ode to true and life-changing love also serves as a throwback to Lamone’s previous collaborative work with Najee. After touring the world and making beautiful music together dating back to the mid-2000s, we are glad to see and hear that this dynamic duo has creatively reconnected.

Fall in love with Lamone’s “You Complete Me” and be sure to add it to your collection from your preferred digital platform. The track is the third single from his upcoming album IAmLamone, which is set to drop later this year. If you haven’t already, in addition to “Born To Be King,” check out the lead single from the project, "Girl You Need A Change Of Mind."
