If you don't know, now you know that Rainbow Child, the recent project from NYC-based music duo Lion Babe, is a visual album. They've released a new single and video in the lead-up to the album's release. Now that it's out in the world, the duo continues giving us artistic visuals from the set with the clip for "Going Through It."
As with all the Rainbow Child clips, the twosome takes an artistic approach to the visual. This time, they go with body paint, with both members painted from head t0 waist in shades of blue and orange. Rather than give us moves and poses, though, they tap into the emotion of the track with meaningful glances at the camera while allowing us to see the artwork covering them and the backdrop. This gives us a chance to zero in on the emotion of the song and its lyrics, which focus on creating your own reality despite the trials and tribulations you're going through. You can definitely chalk this one up as another simple yet beautiful visual from Lion Babe during this era.
